Black body and reconstituted daylight locus coordinates by CCT (CSV/Excel format)
Below you will find the coordinates in both CIE 1931 xy and CIE 1976 u'v' for both the black body locus and daylight locus, listed by 10K and 1K CCT increments.
Alternatively, an interactive calculator is also available here.
The data are organized as follows:
Column 1: CCT (K)
Column 2: x coordinate (CIE 1931/daylight/TM-30)
Column 3: y coordinate (CIE 1931)
Column 4: u' coordinate (CIE 1976)
Column 5: v' coordinate (CIE 1976)
Column 6: y coordinate (CIE 1931 reconstituted daylight)
Column 7: y coordinate (CIE 1931 TM30)
This data is useful if you are creating your own data plot in programs such as Excel, and you need to know the approximate color temperature for a chromaticity coordinate in CIE 1931 xy or CIE 1931 u'v', or vice versa.
Column 2 x-coordinate data is shared among y-coordinate data listed in columns 3, 6 and 7, depending on which locus you are looking for. For example, to get the coordinate pairs for the reconstituted daylight spectrum, use Columns 2 & 6; for the TM-30 daylight spectrum, use Columns 2 & 7.
Please note that the color temperature values are based on the black body locus coordinate points only; use of the reconstituted daylight spectrum or TM-30 daylight spectrum y-coordinates will result in minor deviations from the listed color temperature values.
