realUV™ LED Strip Lights
★★★★★
The perfect lights for making UV exposure units for alternative processes
Many alternative photographic processes such as platinum printing and polymer photogravure require light in the 350nm-400nm range to expose the materials used. My primary process is polymer photogravure and the polymer that is exposed has a peak sensitivity to 350nm light, and the 395nm or 405nm lights just don't work well. The Waveform 365nm product however works extremely well for this process. I have fabricated an exposure unit using the Waveform lights that has over twice the UV intensity as the power hungry metal-halide lamp in the exposure unit I have previously been using. These lights consume less power, run cooler and have a very flat intensity versus time curve. All these attributes make them ideal for using in alternative process exposure units."
