Ultra High 95 CRI 6500K E26 BR30 LED Bulb for Jewelry & Display

Stunning difference
I bought this to light up the paintings on our wall. I, for years, used incandescent picture-frame-mounted lighting, more recently changing to the first LED replacement for the tubular bulbs. Incandescence were barely acceptable; LED lighting was really, really bad, converting delicate blues and greens into muddy yellow. When I first shined the Ultra High 95 CRI LED Bulb on one my favorite painting, it was literally the difference between night and day. Instead of a muddy, reddish painting, all of a sudden the delicate blues and greens were completely restored, looking as though I were holding the painting outside, washed by sunlight. The 95 CRI rating is an indicator of how close to natural light an LED comes. 100 would be perfect. 95 is very, very good. Few LEDs get above 80 CRI for a very simple reason: The only light they generate is blue. They then add yellow as a second color with a material that absorbs blue light and gives off yellow light in return. (That's why most LEDs have those yellow patches on them.) The result is light that is missing two out of the three light primaries: red and green. I'm now going to add barn-door fixtures (as recommended by reviewer, Mark) to my ceiling so I can use these 95 CRI bulbs instead of the picture frame lights. Very much recommended. Get just one bulb along with a simple light-bulb to plug adaptor, plug it into an extension cord, and see what a huge difference it could make for all different kinds of lighting. You'll see what you've been missing."
