Refreshing
I’m not sure how to capture how dissatisfied I’ve been with the majority of LED lighting available in the US. Most LEDs flicker and and spectrum is poor. Unfortunately I’m one of those who can see flicker others can’t and, even when I can’t see flicker I can sense it with poor quality lamps. For me it can trigger migraine auras and nauseated feelings—no joke. So far with these lamps, no problems, and these aren’t even the Zero flicker bulbs. The 3000k light is pleasing yet crisp and is even adequate for task lighting. I have one mounted in a can above my basement workbench sandwiched between two incandescents and I haven’t sensed any issues. I plan to outfit the entire basement, about a dozen or more cans, then we’ll really see how they perform. These start fast, not dim at first like a CFL. The color temp is quite nice. Warm enough, limited blue, good balance. I read a review complaining about the yellow, not a problem for my indoor living application. I look forward to testing a few of the commercial products soon for medical building use. If you are picky like me, this may be a good choice. Be patient. Shipping took longer than I expected and I’m hoping the wait continues to be worth it. I’m happy I discovered Waveform."
