Ceiling Recessed Lighting in Kitchen
Color rendering is important for food too. We have used Waveform Lighting modules for photographic prints, and even for a print judging station (used in photo contests). Now the Waveform 95 CRI flood bulbs are in our kitchen, and it has become a delightful place to be! Everything looks bright and properly colorful as it should be; the difference in fruits and vegetables is instantly recognizable. The ultra-wide dispersion results in plenty of overlap for softer, almost negligible shadows - which is good for food prep work. On the other hand, we could wish for a narrower dispersion pattern (or shorter, more recessed bulbs): these bulbs in ceiling fixtures are highly visible from the sides and appear as noticeably brighter point sources compared to traditional (tungsten) BR30 medium-angle floods; we almost need a visor, and in theory this could bother people who have had eye surgeries. Bottom line: three cheers to Waveform Lighting for developing these awesome products!"
