Bird Room lighting
I purchased these bulbs specifically for a room dedicated to my parrots. I chose these, instead of the waveform avian lighting, after extensive research on the color temperature. The ones they list as avian lighting are far too high in temperature (6500K) for birds but these bulbs, in 5000K, are closer to what is ideal. They are installed in the new room, and look beautiful, but myself, and my birds, have not moved into the home yet as it still under renovation. I am using these in conjunction with other avian lights to provide the optimum indoor lighting system for my birds :).
