CENTRIC HOME™ Flicker-Free A19 10W LED Bulb

Increased flicker as bulbs age causes concussion-like symptoms
Update: The 3000K Centric Home A19 bulbs all started to flicker in a way that caused concussion-like symptoms for me. After 7 months of continuous use in an apartment building’s common areas, the bulbs all had changed from ~1% flicker to having ~12-100% flicker and some had started visibly blinking off a couple times a second. The graphs show the “invisible” flicker of 4 representative bulbs at 7 months. I didn’t use the 2700K bulbs long enough to know if they also flicker more as they fail, but removed them from inside my apartment out of prudence. Previous review: After almost a year of using both 2700K and 3000K versions of these bulbs they continue to be outstanding. They are flicker-free [update: low flicker when new] and healthy for me. I encourage everyone to purchase these Waveform bulbs, to protect those sensitive to light flicker and to support Waveform as a company, since they seem to be the only US company prioritizing manufacturing flicker-free LED lights. Waveform’s “flicker-free” claim for this product is genuine [lupdate: low ~1% flicker when measured, but in a pattern that doesn’t hurt me when new]. For me, even the slightest amount of flicker from LED lights causes pain behind an eye and/or disorientation while in the light as well as serious health effects lasting weeks to months. The lasting symptoms include headache, head pressure, spatial disorientation, nausea, loss of appetite, inability to concentrate/loss of short-term memory, hypersomnia, insomnia, fatigue, and increased flicker sensitivity.. These Waveform bulbs are truly outstanding and have never caused symptoms for me. Even incandescent lights flicker somewhat and can cause mild symptoms for me when I’m hypersensitized to flicker. Replacing all of my incandescent bulbs with these Waveform bulbs has really helped me – the flicker-free Waveform light always feels as pleasant as sunlight.
