Good in general, but great with enough light!
OK, so I'm a bit picky about lights, or at least about color temperature. I like 6500k and not much anything less. I wish I could find a 7000k because I'm pretty sure I'd like it. But I haven't historically taken note of color rendering. I figured I'd try a high CRI light to see if I could tell a difference, and I picked these. Well, overall I thought it was a good light, but didn't really notice much improvement over any other 6500k light... Until I tried it in a lamp focused directly down on a work surface. That gave me enough concentrated lumens that I finally... Uhh... Saw the light? and for days thereafter, every time I walked by I marveled at how fantastic anything under it looked. So for me, I like these a lot, but it doesn't really kick in unless you've got a lot of concentrated lumens, so they're ideal in tight spaces or with a fixture that holds lots of bulbs. Maybe I'll get a chance to try the LED strips sometime to really up the lumens."
