Relief
This bulb was to replace a 40 watt incandescent that I was using in a reading lamp. I'm sensitive to flicker, and the low thermal mass of the 40 watt filament was giving me pain. The upgrade to a 60 watt equivalent is of course a brighter light at lower power usage, but the relief from the flicker was immediate and very much appreciated. In addition, the color spectrum is nice, cozy enough for a reading lamp at 2700k, and the spectral balance feels cozy."
