Will the solderless connectors still work if the 5-meter strip is cut into 5?
I bought the 5-meter strip listed above, and connectors. I want to cut it into 5, one-meter strips, for a fixture. This puts the cut points at the points where the strip is soldered together. Will the connectors still work at this point?
We are happy to confirm that the LED Strip Lights can be segmented at the contact pad solder joints for installations.
If you require greater clearance on the PCB to attach the solderless connector wires (or other connectors), we might recommend desoldering the joints so that there is sufficient clearance for the contact pads to fit snugly under the connectors.
